Leapin' Lizards! The irrepressible comic strip heroine takes center stage in one of the world's best-loved musicals. Annie has a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City — and a whole lot of determination. Stuck in a dingy orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan, Annie escapes into the wondrous streets of NYC, foils Hannigan's schemes at every turn, and somehow ends up befriending President Roosevelt along the way. Through it all, she's searching for the parents who left her behind — and finds something even better: a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his secretary Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
