Fall Classes Begin the week of September 7th!
Let’s put some rhythm in those feet! For students with less than three years of tap. We’ll work on combinations and exercises that will teach us all about drumming with our feet.
Three or more years of tap experience. Students will work on control, agility, timing, and complex patterns. Combinations use funky rhythms, tricky techniques, and a whole lot of style.
Students will dive into more complex scenework as they work on responding to scene partners, and finding authenticity.
An introductory acting class that will teach students how to create a character, interpret a scene, and make strong choices on stage.
A triple threat class, we bring together all our skills to work on musical theatre scenes that will challenge students vocally and dramatically.
This class is for students interested in creating their own work. Find tools, exercises, and a safe space to explore your creative mind.
Integrate your singing, dancing, and acting skills in fun musical theatre scenes from your favorite shows.
Learn how to hold harmonies, blend with other voices, and create a dynamically strong sound. Think Pitch Perfect, Pentatonix, and much more.
This class covers fundamental techniques and vocabularies of ballet. Class will consist of barre work, combinations, and across the floor.
Intermediate dancers will work on conditioning, stretching, control, and stamina, while building upon mastered fundamentals.
Modern dance explores the expressivity of the body. Students will work on grounded connection and improvisation in this introductory class.
This class is for dancers who feel comfortable in most ballet technique and are ready to add another level of stylization.
Experience the multi-cultured history of jazz while learning technique and combinations that will strengthen artistry.
Students will find comfort and play in dancing as they learn how to safely lift and guide their partners through combinations.
A deeper exploration of core connection, dynamics, and improvisation, while students are challenged through technique and phrasework.
We take Thanksgiving week off giving us a total of 14 classes per semester.
After that you will receive a paypal invoice from The Spark for three equal payments due on the first of the month (September, October, November).
Each class will be part of an informal showing that is presented in December. Date TBA. This is an optional performance that gives students a goal to work towards in the semester.
Our levels and ages are there to primarily provide a guideline and point of reference for registration. If you believe your student should be in a class that contradicts the level or age listed, please reach out to us and we would be more than happy to talk about it.
